Bradley's New Look!

Bradley is sporting a new look from today.

With over two years of presiding of science-infused improvised comedy, he's gone for a more appropriate look.

He's working on some new outfits that will appear during the months ahead, so keep an eye out for them.

John Bickerton, Reading Buses (S4E2)

Guest speaker for our October 18th show was John Bickerton, head of Engineering and Innovation at Reading Buses.


The subject of his talk was "Car Parks in Reading". Wait! Bear with us - it was a really interesting talk!


Inspired by the talk, the Free Radicals improvised a story involving the duelling bus drivers, gender politics on the buses and the introduction of the new Future Bus!

Ben Steventon, University of Cambridge (S4E1)

Guest speaker for our September 20th show was Dr. Ben Steventon of the Genetics Department of Cambridge Universtity.

The subject of his talk was "A Day in a Life of a Fish Embryo"!

Inspired by the talk, the Free Radicals improvised a story involving the goings-on at Area 51; the top game show on TV's Body Channel, "Epidermises of the World"; and we follow the career path of new nerve cell from thigh to anus.

Shred Talks with The McClanes

Our July outing was on July 19th at Brewdog in Reading.

We partnered with twoprov legends The McClanes in aid of local charity, No 5.

The Free Radicals presented our new Shred Talks format - a fun, fast-paced version of the famous TED talks.

Mark Robbins, Technology Specialist (S3E8)

Our speaker for our June 21 show was Mark Robbins, support lead for a small software consultancy. He specialises in understanding and resolving technical problems and is regularly consulted on security issues/threats.


Mark's talk highlighted how the phone in your pocket, or TV in your home could be working for someone else, not just for you!
